Tenterden House Interiors is a family run furnishing business, which started out in Biggleswade, Bedfordshire in 1826, named E. Dodimead. After a long innings this successful business was sold, but after a small break Robert Willson decided to return to his former passion, after stumbling across a potential site in the picturesque town of Tenterden, Kent, which is where we are now located and have been since 1984. Robert Willson has since retired although we are still occasionally graced with his presence. However, his wife Ingrid Willson and their son Jamie Willson still run the shop today along with Abigail Turner and sometimes the now quite famous ‘Bentley,’ the boxer dog.
Our shop fronts Tenterden’s much loved high street and boasts over 6,000 sq. ft of display area comprising of 16 showrooms set over three floors. With an eclectic mix of hand-made furniture, gifts and furnishing accessories in all price ranges, there are several ranges unique to us, which will not be found in any other shop in Britain. Our business prides itself not only on the quality of its products, but also on the care and attention with which we provide our customers.
